Wow, I love this so much. You handled each complex shape perfectly.
Thankfully no nasty flies on mine! I tried to just use the refs for understanding what the respective mushroom is about and tried to visually steer from them as far as possible so maybe we have a collection of different pictures of the same types.
nice texture work on the velvety schizophyllum. I think I have the same ref folder (are any of your pics covered in big nasty flies?)
