Cassius Von Mortez ‘The Serpent’ - Cassius Von Mortez was once the right hand man to the leader of the assassin guild, Cloak Lock. Cassius was proclaimed by the mysterious Lock to be the greatest assassin within the entire cut-throat empire. However Cassius betrayed Lock, most assume to take ownership over the guild however the actual reasons are still undisclosed. Before Cassius could land the final blow he was incapacitated by Cane Raygon. If Cane had of had his way Cassius would be dead, however Lock instead mutilated Cassius's face and kept him alive. In doing this Lock had kept his most valued assassin and had shown his entire organisation what would happen to traitors. Ever since Cane has gained Cassius's position as second in command and Cassius has been shunned by the rest of the assassin guild and refered to as 'The Serpent' due to both his betrayal and his disfigured appearance.
