I think it's really lame that people get so caught up in technicalities like "proper screen resolution" and "exact palletes". Obviously I can see why people would get nit-picky if he says its something it really isnt, but seriously. can you people get over it and critique the image for what it looks like and not what it imitates??? seriously its stupid and you make yourself look really anal
I wouldn't have though the sun needed shading you know, what with it being the strongest emissive lightsource in the piece. Also, I'm quite confused; is the foreground a side-on view and the background isometric? If so, I'm not sure that's a good idea.
Who is attacking you? I am only saying that your stuff would never ever run on a c64 like this no chance. This does not adhere to the restrictions in the slightest, also i think you are using the CCS64 palette, which is really gash and not close to the real thing by a long stretch.
And once more, doing mockups in a lower resolution than fullscreen fre of the target device is silly. In this case you should make 320x200 mockups, but I doubt you will do that as you seem to be incapable of taking advise. Then again you are 14, so there is still hope for growth. :)
