I actually just meant the color variations in the main image. I like how you used orange, pink, green, grey and brown together to make up the color selections for the skin.
@Wayuki The green was literally a color layer in aseprite but it looked so good I decided to go with it in the preview image. I always like to play about with tinting the image. It's probably not the best way to do it and I'd be better off picking a palette and sticking with it, but I do like it.
@Recilz Yes, I'm still surprised how much of that you can get into a few pixels just by moving them about until it looks right.
The face conveys intense, yet clear emotions. Dissapointment, some contempt, some anger, yet calmed. A cool study, executed with a lot of skill and technique.
@Wayuki Oh, sorry! Yes, I'm definitely trying to be a little more varied with my colour palette. Before this I'd fallen into just making my flesh tones just multiple shades of brown with minor variations on the ramp. Thanks!
