As in shooting out from behing the comet. Don't mix lightsource, there should typically not be two primary conflicting lightsources. The flames nearest the comet should be white, or the typical colors of fire, perhaps trailing off into blue. The flame itself looks like a blob at the moment, make an effort to have it appear more like fire, or a comet's tail, really.
There is a lightsource, I just mixxed the lightsource and the flamelight, and purple does make sense for the flame's color if it's on a comet... Other than that, thx! And I don't know what you mean by "streaming", could you explain it a little more?
There is no lightsource whatsoever, the flame (which I can only assume the purple part is) would cast a strong light on the rest of the comet. The gray outline on the tail is completely unncecessary, and purple just doesn't make much sense as a color choice for a flame. The tail also seems to just be growing out of the comet itself, it should be streaming off, it is, afterall, pieces of the comet burning off in the atmosphere and trailing behind it. I can't tell what direction the comet is going. There should be more variation in your colors. Add a background, the piece is really too small and undetailed to stand alone.
