 Oh...just shows how much I've been out of the video game loop...still would like to know where that strange circular shadow hovering over his lower jaw and upper chest is coming from though....

I'm not diggin' the pose. He looks to stiff. Kinda reminds me  of a stiff plastic toy.  His left fingers, and his right foot seem to be giving off the stiff impression in my opinion. Also, there seems to be a strange, circular shadow hovering over his upper chest, and his lower face. I don't think I quite understand this, although there might be a reasonable explanation for it. To be quite honest, I think you should get rid of the sig at the bottom also. That and I personally would have changed his purple skin to green, if he is a chameleon.

Other than that, the AAing on this piece look pretty good, and the design is pretty spiffy as well. Great job overall...

If I were you, I'd make use of the midtone in areas such as the chest, otherwise it looks like there's a sharp edge where the shade begins. Also, I'd make the horn's shadow a bit larger/longer because the way you've shaded the rest of this suggest the lightsource being quite close. I like the lighting, looks very dramatic.
