Art is not about accuracy. Documenting is. Art has more to do with something like capturing visual (in visual arts) impressions, experiences, emotions, thoughts, ideas, etc. and conveying them through a chosen medium using techniques appropriate for that medium (or not) and own skills (or not) in using the tools appropriate for that medium (or not) ...skills achieved through hard work and maybe some talent (or not) for the pleasure of the viewers (or not).
I just dashed this off not to mansplain what art is (I'm perfectly sure you know) but to remind you that you that you are checking all those boxes and did it all "right", and should be proud of your work, and should not care about accuracy. Even photography is not about accuracy.
So thank you for this amazing landscape.
@gawrone I don't know if the clouds are exactly accurate (I mean, they definitely aren't) but I wanted to capture that thing where the sun is directly behind the clouds and it shines through in a width band around the edges.
@bluexel The lighting's kind of fun to do, but its behind everything so it's all in silhouette!
@b236 Thanks. Love having a go at aerial perspective every now and then.
Everything here is great but the first thing that I saw was the quality of the couds and their shading. Painterly beautiful.
like this lighting! The clouds are also in good shape
@gawrone I'm always happy to hear artists talking about what art means to them. Much appreciate the kind words of encouragement also.
