A little mockup map of a basement area for a future project. I tried to use references heavily to get things to look as recognizeable as possible, and pushed myself to use some more dynamic shapes than the usual square stuff I've been doing in my current project. I've been doing a lot of research for this project, looking at the interiors of "normal people" homes to see the variety of how people live. Kinda hard when people usually clean up before they post pictures though.

Ah, Mother 3 for sure, it's just the way you've done those diagonal lines that remind me of Earthbound.

Definitely! Although maybe a bit more Mother 3, since I tried to be a little more minimalist with the shading style. Perhaps an equal amount of both.
