These are two artworks from my collection for "Lênh Ðênh - Da Nang Tui" art exhibition in Da Nang, Vietnam.

 

Long story short, I've always admired the local fisherman in my area for their dedication and ability to control those tiny basket boats floating above the furious waves of the ocean, almost like a dance! And as a result, personally I consider them to be artists!

So here's my concept for the artwork: "What if we switch our work place? It'd be fantastic if I could try to make some drawing on those tiny boats out in the ocean ".. And while standing on those boats, I tried as hard as I could to draw something, and the result was... well, you know... vomitting and all that stuffs...

Once again, a huge respect to those local fisherman from Viet Nam and all over the world!
