The All-in-One and One-in-All. The Gate, and the Key.
Mad cool! God, I love it.
I love this craft (awful pun intended). It is quite mesmerizing to watch the eyes pouring from one to another
ufff quedo brutal, se ve de pesadillas jajaja
DukeDarker - I've drawn Yog-Sothoth multiple times over the years, always in different mediums, and felt that I had finally enough animation experience to properly convey my mental image of it. It's also always been orange to me, I have no idea why. The creature itself is literally a lovecraftian Horror, as in, it's one of the outer gods, mentioned for example in Lovecraft's story "The Dunwich Horror".
Nice! What was your inspiration?
Such a cool animation, and lovely background! Can't wait to take a look at it frame by frame.
Victor Rojo - For this I switched between Graphicsgale and Asesprite, depending on what I felt more comfortable with at the time. The bg was done all in graphicsgale, the animation mostly in asesprite, palette and color control with gale, animation cleanup with ase.
Thanks everyone for the compliments!! ♥
Wow I can stare at this for hours! I am a big fan of cosmic horror and Lovecraftian themes, love it!
Can I ask you what software/s you used to make this? thanks!
Turned out amazing! Looooove the fluidity of the animation!
The eyes splitting apart and recombining is quite a complex animation. Kudos, looks great.
Looks like a 3D intersection of a 4D shape.
oh my,this is go good!
I like the effect of the eyeballs gathering and dispersing
Very well done. Seems like some eldrich, lovecraftian horror monster.
specialmin - I was considering making it a series, the similarities between this and the last are accidental, but then I thought that a King in Yellow third one is kind of obvious. Just that one I find the motive hard to pinpoint for. And Nyarlatothep has always been my favorite but the hardest to decide on a visualization for, literal 1000 forms and all that.
Thank you all ♥
1. Is this going to be a whole series?
2. Stunning background
3. The shifting symmetrical forms remind me of that Carl Sagan clip where he describes a 3rd-dimensional being appearing to 2-dimensional beings as a sequence of cross-sections. Very nice
Wicked, love it
It's amazing what you can do with only 6 colors!
