Ironically enough, I decided to do this thing in an oekaki program to be able to prove that it's pixel art. View the animation here. Scribble Zombie is the name of the oekaki I drew this on, as my school's library computers block my own oekaki for some reason.

I am totally in love with it. I would play your game, even PAY for it (gasp!) Everything looks so fluid and well put together. And this means you need to pixel Chi, like, right now. >: CHI VERSION NOW GO! /points!!
@Enzyme Project accordianman is a different project alltogether. This is a mockup for an unrelated project.
@Jalonso The font is a copy of Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow's. At first, I was doing my own thing for the font, but I then realised that the text had to be sized appropriately for a handheld, so I just used the first game I could grab. You're absolutely right - the bottom screen was a complete afterthought. In fact, I originally planned to make it a mockup with scenery and enemies that spanned both screens. What you see here is what I ended up settling with when my imagination completely failed on me.
Great mockup for the most part. I am not sure about the font selections but thats personal style, nothing is really wrong there. Certainly the top ingame screen is much better than the map area which has an overall unfinished look.
Ha! I suck at maps. I suck at backgrounds, too- I have no imagination for scenery...
@Blueberry_pie Prolly the 8-pixel border that does that. I looked at one of his mockups to determine how I wanted mine to look, but I noticed that his were slightly off, making the DSs screens a bit taller and wider than they actually are.
