Mith, I've been meaning to ask something for a while...
You can pixel and I can't. I can program and you can't. Why can't we work on something together?
I don't think Elpis can go on without somebody who can pixel the same style, so it's basically dead. I'm not asking if you'd do the Elpis graphics, hell no. They suck after you get used to them. What I'm asking is if you ever start working on a new tileset and you want a game to get started, I can work with you so long as you continue with the graphics. Wierdly enough, I've never worked with a pixel artist who keeps at it...
Though, the Godborn tiles are out of the question. They've already been typecasted as "the Godborn tiles", so you'll have to get something new going. I'd prefer 32x32 tiles, only because it's a pretty perfect size.
Hehe thanks :), they are not being used for a game, i did them for a simple pixelin tutorial but i got lazy after doing the tree's :P. I know the highlighted leafes were a bit bad done :P. Could have done it alot better.
The tree with leaves really look the best in secound stage, really. then the shading starts to become flat, stage three might be allright, but the bright colors at stage four is to close to the shaded parts, you should keep them at the areas were it should be brighter.
