Thanks, Adarias! The combination of horizontals and verticals is something I did not consider consciously. I appreciate you guys pointing out stuff that worked, because  sometimes one stumbles upon these things.

Agreed, masterful use of distinct marks - would also point out the flattening horizontal shapes using on the path and the strong verticals in the cloaks.  Great work!

I like the blockiness of the buildings against the softness of the foliage!
