You did not understand me. I was not reffering to "inordinate amount of greys" which you can always use as many as you like. How much of it will be justifiable artistically and technically in pixel art boundries, it could not disqualify your work as pixel art, but only reflect the quality of it. 110 colours is not too much in general but sometimes it can be in particular situations. If your pixel art is sprayed with stray pixels of singular colours not used for anything else (most of those 0,1% in the link) it does not disquaify your work as pixel art. It just means you had no time or did not care to properly clean it. Which is entirely your choice, however others might evaluate that choice later.

especially the hair. You used some griadientish techniques on the bacground and have a looot of unnecesary gray pixels. If you could clean it, it would be perfect!
