My best to date, I reckon. Revised to use 11 cols; was 42 before with only about 11 really visibly different. Moral: Don't mix a new shade for that pixel you've just noticed is off, prepare the palette in advance and stick to it or people'll think you used some tools you're not allowed to!

Hey Anlina, thanks for the crits. It's the first time I've tried a pic like this and it's not really my usual style (as you can see). I think I'll withdraw it for now.
What's with the random black pixels and the rough dark grey outline on his collar? The shading on his face is a fairly accurate looking posterization of the photo, but the shading kind of falls apart from there. I really think you should post this in the WIP forum and refine it further as it does not look even close to finished.
the reason it was revised is because this is 42 colors, some of which are impossible for the human eye to tell apart. which 99% of the time means it is a color redux or tools were used
