It's surprising to realise that this picture is from this year, although it clearly looks older than me. Very technical, very canonical, competent work under palette constraints, beautiful brilliance
What? Stop this at once. Its too good. I'm simply baffled by the technique where you've got oranges and blues worked into everything because it looks so good and my brain isn't even reading it as anything other than a sparkle effect until I zoom in.
Jeez, this is some INTENSE texture work - and yet, totally unambiguously handmade. A labor of love. The smatterings of single white/yellow pixels in the highlights is really, really cool.
This stunning masterpiece will remain in my memory. The wide range of hues is so beautiful. Thank you for your wonderful work.
Wow, this looks absolutely beautiful! I can't even fathom how much effort and trial/error it took to place all of these pixels. The steps you took to make this were extremely interesting to look at :)
