Great use of value and saturation contrast here. Besides the striking blown out highlights on the skin and wings contrasting the dark night, you've also put all of the red into the upper wing and framed the character in a ring of light which helps emphasize the focal point even more. Also see that you used a trick of painting the background lighter behind the darker part of the character which works well with the lack of outlines and smooth volumetric lighting. Really clean work overall lazerka, how long did the take if I may ask?
