Perhaps this Christmas it's best to be left out in the cold. Yule Be Sorry brings you spooky tidings and plenty of holiday fear. Deck the halls and hang the stockings with care for soon you'll be in for a tree-mendous fright.
I had to look up the hex of the dominant colour for the bricks, to get a better name for it, and I got "mostly desaturated dark orange". I respect trying to keep the colour usage to a reasonable minimum, and keeping the background graphics distinct from the wreath/logo/skull motifs, but I think a buffer between the dark purple and the mostly-sortof-orange (maybe using the mid-purple or brown since the palette is limited) would have helped enormously. Subjectively speaking I don't think the contrast of rendering between the wreath/logo/etc and the house works in the piece's favour, but plenty other people would disagree. Colour is always tricky when you're trying to find colours to push focus in the right areas of a picture, and clearly convey what something is (like a bleached skull), without also coming off distracting.
Full props for jamming in a hideous Christmas pun too
Very effective use of the palette to create atmosphere but also highlight the Christmas theme. The logo looks great, and I love the skull on the wreath. Really nice shading on the bricks, too!
