The splash screen was described as going for the OG Virtua Fighter look but this screen reminds me more of the arcade prototype Beat Head, with some ambiguity between flat-shaded and gourad-shaded polygons, along with the mutated anthropmorph enemies. Trying to imitate low-poly art through digital drawing is no mean feat and I think you've done a fine enough job here that my imagination races visualising this scene in real-time.
