Hi! I'm Back!

This is my first time making anything this large and detailed and I'm pretty proud of how it went. This took me almost a month to make, from start to finish, but I was coming back to it in little incriments every day, although It probably would have taken me a week or so if I really dedicated my time to it. Had a lot of fun with it, and took it pretty seriously although more work could have gone into the initial sketch, so it was relatively rushed. Drew a lot of inspiration from the masters on here like Helm, Ilke, Cyangamou and some others. My perfectionist side really came out haha, although I feel like I lost some of the big picture stuff like depth, pose and readability. I still have a long way to go. Anyway I might make a background in the future, I think I'll also put out a gif that has all my progress in it, just like slices of the process. I just hope you enjoy that's all, DM me for crits.

Thank you!! it does feel a bit like a classic on here, althoug the techniques use are more modern (thick outlines and sharper colors) The face certainly feels like something from 2008 pixeljoint

Thank you for the very kind comment  I worked really hard to make sure each aspect of the piece is perfect, at least within my skills. I love crabs, they are like awesome alien robots animals. Their armor and weird details and bumps  are very cool I think

Holy crap, this is INCREDIBLE. I love everything about this piece - the texturing, the thickness of the outlines, the detail put into even the shadow, the color choices on the crab... actually, the crab-ness of this piece is what I love most about it. This dude really do be lookin' like a crab.
