Some great use of large clusters to concentrate attention on the most important details through texture density.
Really great mixture of realism and abstract shapes! I love the colors!
Thank you
The process for making the clothes mostly involved getting the values right, then adding some variation with the oranges and pinks.
This is excellent. Looks of good choices in regards to colour placement on the clothing.
Beautiful and a very interesting pixel art experiment! Masterful use of colors.
Thanks! They ended up taking me longer to make than the actual faces
I can't cope with this style of yours... takes my breath every time.
This is incredible, nice clusters and anti-aliasing! You have the perfect balance of art and reality.
Thanks! The big purple bar to the far left is a wooden wall, behind it would be a desktop computer. You can also see a darker rectangle that corresponds to a foldable table that's leaning against it.
The blurring was pixeled by me by hand, I was just trying it out to see how it would look as an abstract effect, in the photo it's just a straight line.
The only real problem I had with the photo was that the hand furthest to the left was moving, so it didn't show up quite right and I had to make something up.
Okay I really like the artwork but I have to know, what is the object on the left side of the frame?
The anti-aliasing and general rendering of the piece seems fairly clean and on-point. It's just that the framing of the window behind the person on the far left, seems to have run into a very large amount of rasterized blurring. Was this part of the picture similarly ambiguous in the reference? Did you have any other particular trouble spots?
Thanks! I'm thinking about ways to push the AA further in a future drawing, maybe for more abstract effects and blurs (I don't know what I'll do yet though).
Now that is a cool style and some deep antialiasing. Love it!
Thanks! In a way that effect is already in the original picture, since the background's just a flat wall, and my phone didn't pick up the sky outside because it was too bright by comparison.
