I like mars, and I love the tonality, it has something special to tell the truth.  Mars is not "red" itself, it is like an ochre. 

And I think that this design adheres to the reality of the landscape.  I did this design itself because for a few weeks I wanted to pay homage to the Rover Opportunity (Oppy) and well, I think this is the best tribute that can be done. 

Likewise, several professional people in the astronomy part helped me with the red tones, they even helped me with the rover, giving me references, and so on. 

Finally, this image is titled "Life on Mars" with a nod to the David Bowie song, however it seems ironic to me to place this title on an illustration where, well, an inhospitable and desolate place is shown.
