First of, I'm a sucker for chicks with horns, and I think this is the hottest pixelart I've ever done. Now I know there are som freaky things going on in this pic but I like it, and am very happy the way it turned out. Sorry no bg though.
It's based on an old concept of mine. I desiged this character a long time ago, even though I really like her I havn't used her in many pics.
Well I only hope you like it as much as I do.

This is a significant improvement. You could continue improvement by: * consider lightening one pixel of the two-pixel chunks of the inner line in the sword blade.. i believe slight breakage of the line will contribute to apparent sharpness (blood grooves normally are sharp edged- I mean their borders tend to stand out in strong relief) * You could use darker shades, and more 'external-aa' on the blade. It may depend on your background, but generally you can use AA colors as dark as the darkest nearby color in your picture.. which is much darker. (in this case the dark purplish color is nearby.). That might prompt you to adjust the palette.
The AA on the blade still needs work. Consider the following points:
* you have done halo-ish antialiasing (which *is* antialiasing, but generally looks pretty poor). For things that you want to look sharp, like blades, you have two choices: do a really smooth AA job, or don't use AA at all. * You can usually improve AA by pushing the 'solid' parts into the 'lineart' along 45 degree angles * When you have smoothed out the antialiasing, the blade may not look sharp enough. Then it is time to highlight the edge.
Here is a small demo. First the original is shown, then pushing the solid into the lineart, then highlighting the edge.

k, Now I have made teh legs abit shorter. There acttualy still to long but I think it's pretty fine. Tried to find whera the AA was needed on teh sword, don't know if I got it.
Yeah, those are some freaky long legs. And at first I thought she had a moustache because of how dark the outlining is on her mouth. But, I'm guessing it's lipstick, so ignore that comment. Get rid of the outlining on the wood handle where it's "inside" the blade, it's pretty uneccessary. And the legs could be shortened a bit, too. Do that and it'll be really awesome~
