I really like the character design and the pose a lot, also the colors you chose

I think the version on the right has lighting that's a bit too uniform, which flattens it a bit. Wondering if it would make sense to shade the right leg and the back of the hair a little more like how it is in the first image, with darker darks. Good progress overall though, and they are both nice looking sprites!
