done in c64 hires mode. those limitations are; no more than 2 colors per 8 by 8 square in a grid on a 320w by 200h canvas. C64 color palette (so dont complain about the colors). runs on a c64 no problem. made with Project One.
i used 2 different styles here, stylistic dither and trangles, as a way to convey her many styles she has.
took some 12 hours over several days, 8 colors.

Awsome! Original and brilliantly drawn. I love the use of two styles. It makes to stylised dithering appear in the foreground and the triangular part looks out of focus and in the background.

thats why i did one side dithered, and one side triangles. i didnt want to use a bunch of colors on it because it would take away from it, i tried it already. also, i had a hard enough time keeping it within the strict restrictions with just the 8 colors i used
I didn't know you were married...when did that happen?
The only thing that bothers me is that the (OUR) right side of the face is completely dithered and the (OUR) left side is just triangles. You could have also dithered the uppermost part of the nose abit more, so the transition with the green looked better. And maybe you could've explored the potencial of this pallette a bit more, by going through all the colours it offers.
Other than that, seems perfect to me. It's beautiful. Great work.
Absolutely beautiful piece. The way you got the geometric shapes and the organic circles to work together is just splendid, as well as the wide range of colors. Whooo~
