Merry Christmas to Christoballs!

Earlier this year, I went to Cornwall in South-West England. I stayed near the amazing Saint Michael's Mount and thought it would be an excellent subject for a PETSCII picture.

One of the things I did in Cornwall was visit a lot of sites related to electronic musician Aphex Twin. Being from the area, a lot of his tracks are named after Cornish towns, villages and landmarks. His track Mt Saint Michel + Saint Michaels Mount references both the location in Cornwall and its sister abbey in Normandy, Mont-Saint-Michel.

This is what made me think of Christoballs, who is French, has connections to the UK and likes PETSCII. I thought it'd be fun to draw Mont-Saint-Michel for him, and St Michael's Mount as a companion piece.

@pixl_person: Thanks! I looked at how Christoballs did the PETSCII gift wrap last year, and then tried my own version. It definitely didn't turn out as well (CopheeMoth came up with a completely different but very nice version themselves) but I'm pretty happy with how the picture itself turned out.
