Earlier this year, I went to Cornwall in South-West England. I stayed near the amazing Saint Michael's Mount and thought it would be an excellent subject for a PETSCII picture.

One of the things I did in Cornwall was visit a lot of sites related to electronic musician Aphex Twin. Being from the area, a lot of his tracks are named after Cornish towns, villages and landmarks. His track Mt Saint Michel + Saint Michaels Mount references both the location in Cornwall and its sister abbey in Normandy, Mont-Saint-Michel. I also drew the latter as a Secret Santa gift for Christoballs. Click on the thumbnail to have a look:

Thanks so much! I'm glad you find it fits the music. Funnily enough, this track in particular doesn't particularly evoke Saint Michael's Mount for me, although his music generally reminds me a lot of growing up in the UK in the 90s.

I also never expected to get a comment on Pixel Joint in Cornish!
