There's a lot of good moody stuff going on here. I like the color choices, the structure, the actual rendering of the tree.
To Eishiya's point, I would recommend trying the same piece at a quarter the resolution, possibly even using this piece as direct reference. Pixel level control is a lot easier with fewer pixels :)
On a fine point, I would like to see some brighter yellow at the core of the fire, and that same yellow could be used for motes up in the smoke. Just half a dozen little sparks can really help with the look of a camp fire.
Pixel Joint is for artwork featuring pixel-level control, which means artwork featuring a lot of pixel noise and uncontrolled colour blending is outside of PJ's scope.
