A bit of a smaller drawing here that originated from me testing out different techniques and styles for making leaves. Began sketching out parts of a landscape to go along with the leaves while I was bored of working on other pieces, and eventually I just decided that I might as well make it into a completed piece.

Decided to try and challenge myself with this piece; I tried out a slightly different style of grass based on criticism I've recieved on some of my other pieces and also included quite a bit of water in the scene which I'm not usually good at drawing. I think that this piece and the new things I tried turned out pretty well overall, although the water definitely blends together too much with the surrounding rocks and makes it hard to tell what's going on in the scene.

Hopefully in the future I'm able to refine aspects of the styles I used in this drawing and make a more polished piece.

Thoroughly impressed with how you were able to pack so much detail into such a small canvas. How long did this take you?

Thank you! I will definitely be working more with this style in the future. Those drawings you linked are super interesting, I especially love the stylized rocks all throughout the cliffs.

Ok this is cool! I think you have a good thing going here. Would like to see more of this approach if you kept pushing the style. In a way, this reminded me of this stuff - https://i.imgur.com/NznCbKg.png
Really liking the stylized pixel cluster treatments. Stuff like this always reminds me why pixel art must always exist.

Very warm piece, and really great job on water and foliage

Thank you! I had some Bob Ross vids playing in the background when I made this, so maybe that's why haha

That landscape reminds me a good old Bob Ross videos
You have made this piece cozy enough and the soft palette works with such theme perfectly! I agree with you that it's a bit hard to read the difference between water and rocks, but that is still fine! There are always ways to improve hopefully! Keep a great work!
