Thanks! The ZX palette doesn't give you a lot of options for subtle backgrounds so I just like to go crazy with them and match the characters.

Looking through your recent posts, it really stands out how you manage to communicate character so well through visuals. In this one especially, the ample stance and sharp silhouette give a huge feeling of strength even though it's not a battle scene. Meanwhile in the others the different types of lighting can give misterious, magical or even slightly sinister tones to the image, like in the thief, bard and monk ones. Really captures the essence of the character archetypes!

... and then there's the backgrounds themselves!
