You are really nice. It really feels great when someone puts so much effort in contemplating your works, even when they are "small" and you my friend are on a roll of giving amazing feedback and praise.
Yes, you noticed that I tried to make it opposite to the first one in every way I could think of. The frame was tilted in most dynamic way - because full of life, so this one is straight and static. First one was smooth, this one is sharp and contrastive. First one is filled with life and love and this one is dead and lonely. First one is focused on something in front, same focus as the viewer and this one the focus is reversed to the viewer. The symbol is soft and handwritten there and hard and artificial here There are probably more oppositions I intended or accidental :)
I love Beksinski but actually my favourite (and my biggest inspiration in some way) is another polish painter Tadeusz Brzozowski. Less figurative surreal and more abstract but the mood is kinda similar sometimes. Go google his works, they are incredible.
Very strong use of the palette, and nice texturing. The details in the background remind me of Zdzislaw Beksinski. I like how this piece and your main submission work together.
Thank you. The truth is that I wasn't familiar with this symbolic usage of semicolon before I was looking for a single word, a slogan, a hashtag, something that can hold the meaning but be short enough to fit on the Polaroid frame. Semicolon is shortest as it possibly can be, and says much more than I could wish for. It would be awesome if this was my idea
Waaaaait, do I see rips under your clothes? This piece is getting deeper everytime i see it. btw. unfortunately I can very much understand the meaning behind the semicolon. Big respect!
I do get that a lot, but without my micro, pseudo beard I look like a 12 lears old.
I find it *funny* that you could look like a western interpretation of Jesus in this. Yes it might be a bit of a stretch, but I said what I said :P Vey nice work both on the portrait and all the textures around.
It's beautiful! I love how you used this palette. Love little bro! I'm watching your back!!
Thank you my friend. Always appreciated. The positivity, joyfulness and warmth you share to others in the entire community is very impactful.
Very impactful expression of the negative things we face in life.
Sending you a big hug man
@Rewind. That's a wonderful compliment. Thank you and you're welcome
