The blob was useless. They could've stopped it with an old bathtub.

Okay, sounds like good advice, I'll try making it look like a chunk of Jelly rather than bubbly.

@Emanu & Ensellitis: Thanks for the crit on my pixelween. Here's my attempt at trying to take your advice, but I think it looks worse. I'm not saying your advice is bad, just that I can't pull it off

@SeanGraal: Jigsaw was the bloke, when I am depicting the puppet he uses (which as far as I am aware is unnamed).


If anyone thinks this one is better, I've overwrite my current one with this one.

I think you should redo the blob with more distinct highlights, think more along the lines of a series of connected bubbles than a mass of porridge as it is now. ;)

also, you need to clean up your lines. the puppets eyes are a mess of jaggies.

Congrats on completeing the first entry to Pixelween. Seeing as how difficult it has been for me to come up with suitable villains for this challenge. Good luck on your fine entry.

Having never seen either of those movies, I cant complain about that.  Anyway, it looks like a carpet.   Thats all I can see its body being. 

i see no blob :[...but, work on the pose of "Jigsaw" (not Saw-as it is the name of the movie)

if i remember right, the blob was a jelly-like, clammy thing, but your blob looks like a linty red carpet =/

the filmtitle-look and film-border idea is quite nice though

that arm sticking out looks really out of place, looks way to low on his body.  and i dont care one bit for the dithering.  many of the shades contrast too much.
