Another little pic inspired by the launch of a new Robin hood series here in the UK (Good acting, poor scripting, terribly non period costumes, just a tad too modernized!! oh hum!) , however this is nothing to do with the series itself, it just got me feeling all Sherwood foresty thats all.

Seen here in Sherwood cammo and ready to take on Guy of Gisbourne or any other crony that the good ol' Sheriff of Nottingham throws his way!

I thought I would have him with a dagger instead of the sterio typical bow, although it's there on his back and ready to go!

The first episode of that new Robin Hood was incredibly mediocre.  All been done before, and far better, and didn't bring anything new to it (unlike the far superior Robin of Sherwood which even added a brand new member to the group in the form of the saracen Nasir).  Just all seemed bland... and that part where Robin throws the sword up high, knocking back both soldiers that had Much... crap.  And I still can't stand Keith Allen, and I keep expecting the Sheriff to start singing that shite vindaloo song.  I'll keep watching it anyway as there ain't anything else on at that time and I'll always watch Robin Hood stuff even if its crap like the Costner movie.

This sprite is cool though.  A nice old fashioned olde Amiga look to it.  Sort of a sluggy side scrolling hack n slash type thing.  Feeling quite nostalgic...

Cool.  Once again I have a few problems with the legs but otherwise its pretty good.
