Animation is 8 frames long. 32x32 pixels, I connected each frame using Jasc Animation shop 3 (great free program). I made the tiles before animating them in MSpaint. (Working on a game, this is one of the tiles.)

While the animation is great it does look quite tiled.

i think you could remedy this in a way they did in the first grandia game.

on a transparent layer ontop of the water you have the same animation again only not put exactly above or in synch with the other one.

What is WW? ....Anyway its for a 2D game. Its a angled sky view, would make better sense if you could see the water in game. And its suppose to be choppy to save room for the CPU, since it has to load the rest of the map and players walking around.
