I'm also baffled that i could recognize most of them at first glance considering the scale. Very good job.
And 19 is certainly Tuco Salamanca from Breaking Bad
Thank you!
I intentionally made every character from different movie/show, so I couldn't rely on context of other characters :)
these likenesses are dead on! I wouldn't have thought one could make tiny lucasarts sprites for characters like Kim Wexler or CIA and have them be instantly recognizable without any context
9. is indeed Edie Falco as Carmela Soprano :)
and 20. was supposed to be Aidan Gillen as CIA fron Dark Knight Rises :b
Good job, I'm happy I made them so recognizable :)
1. Colin Farrell, New Batman movie (I still can't believe it's him under the mask)
2. Anya Taylor-Joy, The Queen's Gambit,
3. Probably, Temuera Morrison, Mandalorian
4. Magnificent Rhea Seehorn, Better Call Saul
5. Probably, Yojimbo
6. Frances McDormand, Fargo
7. Samuel L Jackson, Glass
8. No clue. :)
9. I know it's not Edie Falco, but brain want's to go there for some reason.
10. Billy Bob Thorton, Bad Santa
11. Alita
12. Peter Sellers, Dr Strangelove
13. Looks familiar but doesn't ring a bell.
14. I know the actress, but I don't know the name nor the part
15. Zazie Beetz, Deadpool 2
16. Jim Kelly, Enter the Dragon
17. Paul Dano, New Batman movie
18. Cillian Murphy, Peaky Blinders
19. No clue
20. Edward Norton, The Score
I adore these.
There's so much character and likeness in each of them, at not very big drawing size, which is a big challenge.
You really know how to capture important features. Best portraits (if I may call them like that) I've seen lately.
I only know a few of them, but the likenesses are great!
This is so cool, the expressions of each character are so lifelike. I love these little hands and the palette is so introspective.
