I love the rendering on the leaves. A stroke of genius dithering the highlights on one side and leaving the other (matte?) side one solid color. Very tactile.
it's weird how scarcely anyone talks about this show. It might be the best anime ever and chiefly responsible for the "lo-fi hip hop" fad that was so common online a few years back. Great interpretation! I probably would have made her uglier heh

This is just amazing! I love Samurai Champloo and this is a wonderful hommage to Fuu. She looks so cute! She was instantly recognisable too. Your dithering technique is also so impressive.
