A study of a photo i found somewhere on Pinterest Here is the photo itself: imgur.com/PF28W2z Had a lot of fun doing this! Making studies like this helps to understand colors, light, shapes, perspective and composition all at once. I will definitely try doing this more often.

Really like the mid-point between minimalist pixels and detailed that you used for this one. Also like the contrast between the clean straight lines of the background structure with the jagged and blended curves of the foreground wall. The minimalist branches up top are a nice touch too. I'd love to see a whole series of retro video game cutscene stills in this style.
