I actually started making these for a forum I ended up getting banned from as a sort of peace gift I suppose... but... oh well, their loss. Whatevs. I drew inspiration from a variety of emotes such as MSN and deviantART emotes. I really like what I made. I know some animations could be improved as well as shading but overall I like it a lot. :) I think I may make another set of emotes like this one... maybe of skulls. :D
I wanted to keep the background because of the anti-aliasing on the outside, it just looks better. :P

Thanks for the crits! I had a hard time with the shading of this. When I put the lightest shade only on the top of the head and not on the bottom it looked really odd, so I was at odds with myself on how to shade it. I do like the outline though... Do you think I should remove the AA from the outline? Is that what you're saying?
