Hi everyone, Rats and buloght had directed me over to this great pixel art site. This is a piece I did for the Light Fantastic challenge over at CGEmpire.com. It's two furry buddies enjoying the night view of the city. Sorry I don't have much pixel work to show at the moment, hopefully I'll have more in the future. Nice to meet you, guys and gals!

This is great. A lot of people think pixel art is easy because it's just a bunch of squares with a limited color palette. Now if they only tried it once...

Darth Mandarb: Thanks for pointing it out! Those were the first few buildings that I pixeled in and it seems that I've forgotten to make them consistent with the rest when everything was done.

Excellent!

I didn't notice it until zooming in on the image ... but there are two buildings on the lower left side of the image that have an extra color (looks black) on some of the outlines. It caught my eye (on zoom in only) and seemd "off" a little ... but that's just a teenie-tiny minor thing, the image is great!

Awesome piece. Extremely reminiscent of anime where you have a carefully painted background with cel-shaded characters animated on top of it (also reminiscent of anime in that it has cute characters in a really neat scene). Cool.
