This really fills me with dread, I love it. The angle and story it's telling is great

Thanks a lot! I think I like your comment, cause it was kind of the process I was going through. There is nothing really scary to the picture, but the colors and the uncertainty who awaits you up or down the stairs made the whole thing work for me.  Thanks so muuuuuch!

This is sick!

I really like that the figure reflected in the eye is a silhouette in the doorway and a shadow on the stairs, letting my brain come up with all sorts of dreadful possibilities for what the thing emerging from the basement could be - proper scary!

Or could it be that the silhouette is at the top of the stairs, looking down into the basement? In that case, does the eye belong to something horrific lurking in the basement, or to an innocent victim trapped down there by the person upstairs? Who is who? Will we find out next week?
