Another in the series of C64 hi-res pieces. Finished #12 at this year's graphics compo at the X party. The restrictions were, and remain: 2 colors per 8x8 character, out of the fixed 16 color c64 palette.

God I love this one! I just... hmpf I can't pinpoint it but it has both, a delicous retro flavor and some very fine colour-positioning. (When is my next payment for praising your pixels senselessly arriving, eh?)

Mindboggling and inspiring! I really want to try out the triangle texture you've used, adds a very appealing 3rd dimension to the piece.
