Pixelween 2023, Week 2 - Danger on the Horizon

A normal Halloween. That's all Jenny Saint-Clair asked for, just a normal Halloween for once. Not like the one that ended her marriage, not like that time her uncle made a riot at the kid's party, not like when she confessed her undying love for Brad Chinperson at her 10th grade "Fall Spectacular" dance and proceeded to make a spectacular fool of herself when he laughed in her face and made her a paraiah nearly overnight, and especially not like tonight when the world is getting invaded by weird horned aliens, one of which she could've sworn she saw lurking outside.

"C'mon, buddy. Where are you?" she whispered to herself, pointing her personal handgun out the window. "I know you're out there, you bastard..."

I think I might like this one the most out of my Pixelween submissions. There's something kind of cozy about the house, if you can ignore the crazy lady brandishing a weapon in the window.
