this is what my c64 peice was originally for... however after finishing the bulk of it, i found out the canvas was going to be this size... i didnt get around to cropping it until now, so this is it...
incase you didnt know, it is jason vs alien...
c64 (koala) only 3 colors + bg per 8 by 8 tile, double wide pixels and used c64 palette

This is really nice! I didn't even notice the wide pixels at first. I like the texture on Jason's hockey mask, and the colour choice on the alien. Good job sir.

I love the alien. Very real-c64-style. Very vague, ambiguous colours & shapes that give an overall impression that is exactly correct. I remember looking at my old Amiga screen wondering what a certain blob of pixels was, sometimes, and this gives the same sort of feeling... that is a good thing. Really cool effect.

. Anyway, it looks good. Maybe you should have c64'alized the template's border, too...
