@DukeDarer Here's a brief process breakdown. But the short of it is: I do a static drawing first to get the vibe and help me imagine how it might look animated. Then animate step by step, adding more details and particles until it looked good.

This is incredible! you said its more rough than you wanted but that makes it feel so powerful like what ever is happening is out of control!
@Korban Thank you sir. You're right; i think the jaw could bounce around even more.
Love all the movement! I feel like dislodging the skull's jaw when it opens would add to the chaos/madness aspect of the piece, kinda like a colourful Venom of sorts.
Then again, it's awesome the way it is ;)
