an rpg mockup i did for a currently paused rpg.  Basically you would traverse in this area, but enter dungeons, towns, etc in a zoomed in more detailed area.  Similar to golden sun in ways.

I like your color choice, especially those mountains! The textures are pretty solid, but the water looks a little too brick-like. Horizontal ripples along the coastline would better describe a large body of water.

Very bright map, fun to look at, I like the water texture and the wonderful gras border. The rocks dont rock that much, maybe some more shadows lines on such objects like on the fancy trees and palms. Nice work on such a small size, amazing.

mowzr- thanks =)  the straight transition between beach and sand is just my laziness/imatientience :F  Plus my programmer didnt want me to spend too much time on it because its a map basically.

electronico - thank you =)  About the mountains, im a bit confused what you mean.  Isn't the whole left side of them shadowed(no pink highlights)?

Great work ! Nice colors and nice tiles ! ( Perhaps the mountains could have a shadowed side to give them more contrast, what do you think ? ) And it's also very cute :)

This is really good. I love the colors.

Its just, the placement of some stuff looks a bit blocky, mainly that straight line that the grass cuts off into the beach at. it'd look cooler if it was wavey or something.

Wonderful, reminds me of fire emblem more though.

soshashu - thanks =)  When i was making this, the purpose of the the mountains and houses were more like icons rather than scenery.  But now that its been mentioned that they need to be blended into the environment more ill try to make them look a bit more natural.

ryu- thanks buddy =)

Awesome.  I want some smaller rocks to put around the mountains.  That would make it look less... fake in that place.

thanks for the crits blick, ill make sure to do that.

I think you should put in some tiles that bolt the mountains to the ground somehow. Shadows, grass slightly overlaying the base et cetera. right now they're too pasted on looking.
