Incredible. The first colour section captures Hokusai perfectly, and that final fade from the butterfly to the candle smoke is brilliant. Really witty, thoughtful and emotionally resonant work.

I honestly can't stop thinking about this one, it's legitimately the most impressive pixel creation I've ever seen. I could see this playing in an art museum and have absolutely zero questions as to why. This is just, crazy quality and detail.

Pixel art that defies reality

The animation (at its current state) spanned over 2 weeks. With the little forestudy I did beforehand, just about 3 weeks I would say.
