The Ruinous Wastes is a section of the Sarinda Desert plagued with decaying structures, remnants of some sort of long-lost constructs. The Ruinous Wastes is one of the more dangerous places in Vanquera, rife with all manner of machines out to kill you.

The abstraction of the forestry in the background and the distant horizon, combines very well with the tiled sky. I think a future piece that capitalises on this harmony and has stronger rendering on foreground elements would be a Top 10 contender.
