Thank you! I aprreciate the feedback, and I see what you mean. I probably should've toned it down a bit on the back of her head, but I wouldn't get rid of it entirely since it would make the transition a bit too harsh.

Lovely render and shapes. 

My only feedback is that the dithering on hair kinda breaks the reflectiveness/glossy render.

I suppose you'll also propose I draw her in profile, but looking slightly back, have a red accent going along the back of her head. 

I would like to propose a challenge now to go in an opposite direction, and draw an ultra dark African queen.

A fine choice :)
