Great work. And to all those dudes trying to draw him, let the guy COOK!
@Flinigan I think the Pixeljoint sphere was actually hby's entry.
this is hilarious, great idea and execution as well! I reckon the second week of March should be Umbohr appreciation week in the Pixeljoint sphere!
Extrememely clever idea and immaculate execution.
@Theoden Thanks! I feel like I'm a drawn to bright colours but when I do use a more muted palette I like what I get out of it.
This is simply amazing. The composition, colors and the style are all excellent :)
I love it.
@Umbohr Oh! I'm really glad you like it that much! The Juana Romani portrait was fun to sketch in at the last minute! Fortunately it's mostly shadow! She's a really interesting artist. Thanks for introducing me to her work. You pick some interesting artists for your pixelart studies.
@Wayuki yes it's a solution and it gives me an opportunity to do a few goes at studying paintings by old dead artists, which is one of my favorite things to do.
I Love it, no doubt this will be hanged on a wall very soon if you don't mind
I love everything about this but you know, the way you did Juana Romani is particularly inspired i find! Very great job and thank you so much (thank you because it feels like it's a gift somehow )
Haha, very clever idea! You even solved the problem that an image can't really be a SELFportrait of Umbohr if it wasn't made by Umbohr.
@gawrone So far this year I've been kinda art blocked in my regular pixel art to be honest. The challenges have sure helped fill in the gaps to keep me doing a little bit once a week. I really liked this one too...
To make such a masterpiece in a casual weekly challenge...
Thanks. Didn't notice. Nevertheless, it's still a great piece!
