These are 2 of my metalhead OCs, Nicolas (left) and Leonhart (right).

Nicolas's portrait was practically the first pixel art piece I've done in recent years and the first thing I drew on Aseprite (March 2023). I knew I wanted to make portraits like the ones in games like Fire Emblem because they're simple, yet they look cool and pretty, so I used this video as a reference, and this is what I came up with. It took me a while to make his hair look as awesome as it does now.

Next is Leonhart. You can tell there's a difference in mindset here. Nicolas's portrait is kind of awkward because I was just getting acquainted with pixel art techniques, but with Leonhart I already knew what I wanted to do. Their proportions are slightly different, too.

They were actually separate pieces, but I put them together in the same image because I wasn't sure if uploading them separately counted as "clutter"... and I wanted an animated avatar with both of them. They share many colors anyway.

I also had to reduce the palette before uploading (it used to be like 36 colors). Back then, I didn't think those colors were redundant

I mite update this piece later to add the third character. Is that allowed?
